My blog is fairly new. I have been working on encouraging the parents and students to visit the blog on a regular basis. I want this to become part of their daily routine to retrieve information regarding the class. I am also working on encouraging feedback on the class blog.
Regarding students devices, we have been developing a set of rules and regulations on the proper ways to use their devices. With the diversity of devices and the relative immaturity of the class, it is important that they realize they may not take random pictures of students or teachers, visit inappropriate sites, or use their devices for other than educational purposes.
