What is one new thing you tried with your public portal? Please post a link to your public portal in your post.

I think I shared this last time we met, but I am not sure. I created a youtube video of the fall play, improv workshop, and Shakespeare Club performance in place of individual pictures of previous shows. https://sites.google.com/site/thespiansocietytroupe2533/home/past-productions

What is one new thing you tried using student devices?

I did not try this, a student did, but I will take the credit (smirk). The first day of the new semester I had a page of notes on Shakespeare that the students were to copy into their notebooks. Two students got up right away and took photos of the notes on their smartphones and sat down. I thought that was really smart.

I also learned how to use audacity for upcoming IB oral presentations.

I will continue to use the youtube videos because it saves space on my Thespian website. I will also encourage students to use their smartphones in order to become more efficient.  Audacity is by backup for the oral presentations.  I will use a handheld records and Audacity to ensure that the presentation is recorded for submission.
